I'm a woman and I enjoy watching porn. This doesn't seem quite right. Is there something wrong with me?



The fastest growing segment of the porn industry is catering to women. During the first three months of 2007, a Nielsen survey discovered that 13 million American women were visiting internet porn sites at least once per month. There is still the stigma that "nice girls" don't enjoy sex-that they're only there to please their partners. Mix that in with conservative religious beliefs and you have a great mix for a huge dose of guilt.

It seems that women are using porn more of a tool for arousal. It's a great way to try out fantasy and peer into someone else's sexual world in a private, non-threatening way. The downfall is that most porn uses unrealistically proportioned actors and it can make a person feel woefully inadequate.

Sexuality comes wrapped up with all kinds of mixed feelings. The bottom line is that if it's comfortable for you and your partner and it's not immoral or illegal than go for it. The new generation of women have the great attitude that they have the right to have an orgasm and consideration for their sexual feelings.
